My daughter also has this anomolie, she will not grow out of it. It can be fixied when these children become adults. It does require eye surgery and the patient needs to be awake during the procedure to allow the eye surgeon to fine tune the muscle reatachment to perfection. The surgeon will give the patient instruction for eye movement to check placement of the muscle. This was told to me by my daughters pediatric eye specialist, Dr. Kennedy, in Vancouver B.C.
