Re: What causes Ocular Motor Apraxia?

My son was diagnosed with Motor Visual aprexia. Which I think is the same thing as ocular motor aprexia...is that right? I need to have a description of what it is?
How can it affect the child in school?
Can it affect your reasoning process, or delay your thinking?
Can you act rather normal, but the diseases still have it affect your logic?
Can it affect one, while trying to hold down a job latter in life?
Can you out grow it?
Does medications help? If so what medications have helped an adult with motor visual aprexia?

Thank you for your help, answering my questions. My son has this disease...but we never saw the eye movement problems when he was a child. My son is now 19 yeas old.

Sincerely,
Gail R.
