I was diagnosed at about 7 years and have always been very self-conscious of it. I turn my head to compensate. I'm 24 years and ready to get it fixed. I go to my first appointment with the opthmologist in two weeks. I've been told there might not be a procedure to fix it. Is this true? Is there a routine surgery to correct it? How well does it work? Will my age be a factor?
