y 19 month old daughter was diagnosed with Duanes at 6 months. It appears only to affect the outward movement of her left eye. At present she has no other problems we are aware of and has excellent vision. Her consultant has told us that she will benefit from surgery between the ages of four and seven to correct her head posture which now seems more pronounced, thus making her Duanes eye appear to turn inward. From your experience would you definitely recommend surgery for the head posture?
