Hi, my name is danelle and I have a 9 year old son who has been diagnosed with aspergers syndrome by his neurologist. I have been experiencing many problems with my son from a very early age .He is a very sweet child and seems to obsessivly focus his attention in just a few areas of his life . He must attend schools for children with severe emotinol problems which seems to only make his problem worse. He does very poorly in the social area and as I mentioned he is very obessive,impulsive and some times reckless. He does not seem to be able to control him self to the outside world looking in he seems to be out of control and very defient . He does not understand that there are conseqences for his actios he does not take my advice and seems to also have to learn the hard way all the time. It takes a long time to get your child diagnosed but one thing that helps a lot is for the parent to research things and bring it in to your docter visit I hope that who ever gets this will respond back asap.
