Hi Emily,
My son was diagnosed with Duanes when he was 18 months old, he is now 9 years old. Both his eyes are affected. I am still quite in the dark about Duanes, my GP seems to know next to nothing about it, and the hospital specialist says there is no treatment.
However, my son seems to cope with this with no difficulty, and leads a perfectly normal life.
