Our son has been seeing the Osteopath now for two months,
and it seems to have improved his posture a little. It is
difficult to know whether this is due to the cranial ostepathy
or to his physiotherapy (he has been wearing piedro boots for
several months too).
Either way, I feel that this therapy has been very positive for
our son. He always comes out very relaxed and enjoys the sessions.
The ostepath tells us that the purpose of the massage was to
relieve a compressiob of the bones at the base of the scull, and
that he has been successful in that respect.
Although the head jerks persist, our son seems to be holding his
head a bit straighter, he's not as hunched as he was.
The head jerking must be quite damaging to the neck in the long
term, and if nothing else, I think the osteopathy can be helpful
to relieve some of the tension in the neck that OMA's experience.
Does anyone else have any opinions about this ?
