My child was diagnosed with ocular motor dysfunction as well as convergence insufficiency. He cannot keep his place reading... words blend... he has double vision. The opthomologist dismissed the diagnosis and advised me tht my sons eyes were healthy; 20/20 infact. My question then... why the double vision??? The child certainly doesn't lie. We decided to proceed. The optomotrist prescribed glasses and work with colored filters. The child can now catch a ball stating, "I don't see two any more!" I can't give you any advice; I can only say VT worked for my child and he is happier for it. Certainly it didn't hurt and who knows it might help.
