Thankyou for replying so promptly Syndi. No, Maia wasn't premature, in fact, although my waters broke two days before the due date, she hung until she was expected!! I had to be induced (augumented?) which was rather nasty. Towards the end, she was stuck for a short period in the birth canal and her heart rate dropped. Other than that - normal delivery. I did have a couple of incidents of "spotting" during the pregnancy, but again, nothing really significant I don't believe.

I've seen alot of mention of DS on this site, but I'm unclear as to what it is. How does it manifest itself in your child? Was the other twin full term?
