I have lived w/ Duanes for just shy of 39 years. It is also my left eye which is affected. I have no known hearing loss, however. Have ou info that this is related? My only known connection to another problem is w/ thoracic outlet syndrome (constricting of muscles in left should/neck area restricting blood flow to arm). I had surgery for this, but no real help. Do you have problems w/ constant, painful tightening of shoulder/neck muscles and weakness? I presume this is from the years of turning my head to adapt to a single field of vision. One of my doctors has suggested wearing an eye patch to drive, type, etc. to enable my head to remain straight for a change. I'd like to know if you, or anyone else, has similar problems w/ this.
